Packaging continues
Actually I have to admit: it is hard to a decent packaging design. Our task was to pack a chosen fruit (in my case a pomegranate (Granatapfel, dt.)). We started to find two different packages for our fruit, a closed one and an open one, all by paper.
So good, so fine. The next week we had to research the fruit and play with the blank surface, illustrating the fruit. I have chosen to work on the closed package after failing with the open one. Here the results...
I am not totally happy with the results but considering the given time it's ok (one afternoon and a morning, approx. eight hours). With more time I would start to play with colours, and patterns and will work on the closure of the package... The strings have to be longer...
This Saturday we got a cube. We had to pack it with a rectangular paper, but not simply cover all six sides. Once with transparent paper, once with two sided black and white paper. Here some results of mine...
Next week we will play again with our designs... curious what will be and where we will head to.
